Book Launch of Syrian MP Nora Arisian’s “The Exile of Armenians in Der Zor”

(Horizon) – Syrian Member of Parliament Dr. Nora Arisian’s book “The Exile of Armenians in Der Zor: Late 19th Century and Early 20th century” was launched on the occasion of the Damascus-based Assad National Library’s annual International Book Fair. The book is written in arabic.

The book, published by the “Al-Sharq” publishing house, was presented in front of Syrian MPs, political figures, representatives from the Ministry of Culture, Arab intellectuals, and members of the Arab Writers Union.

In “The Exile of Armenians in Der Zor”, Nora Arisian reflects on Armenian presence in Der Zor, the community organization and their social and religious life through the lens of Syrian research topics.
