Japan providing $3 million to address the needs of Armenians displaced from Nagorno Karabakh

The Government of Japan will provide round $3 million to Armenia to help address the needs of people displaced from Nagorno Karabakh.

The signing ceremony of the Exchange of Notes between the Government of Japan and UNDP Armenia for “The Project for Supporting Basic Infrastructure and Social Integration for Displaced Persons from Nagorno-Karabakh and Host Communities” took place at the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

The Project is funded by the Government of Japan in the amount of around USD 3 million and will be implemented by UNDP Armenia. The Project aims to respond to the essential needs of displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh and host communities.
