The Sara Corning Centre for Genocide Education is recipient of Ontario Government’s Priorities and Partnerships Funding
The Sara Corning Centre for Genocide Education is honoured to be a recipient of Ontario Ministry of Education’s Priorities and Partnerships Funding (PPF). This funding is being used to develop specialized educational workshops and educational mental health resources to support the Armenian community effected by the trauma caused by the ongoing war in Artsakh. In particular this program will target youth in elementary and high school.
The Sara Corning Centre of Genocide Education thanks the Government of Ontario and the Ministry of Education for providing opportunites like the anti-hate initiative fund, to allow our important work to be carried out. We believe this funding is going to make a very large impact on the community and the ongoing development of further resources for years to come.
The Sara Corning Centre for Genocide Education would like to also thank MPP Arisb Babikian representing the Scarborough-Agincourt riding for his continued support of the centre and the Armenian Community.
