Tatoyan: Pashinyan recruiting allies to deflect blame for unlawful actions

Former Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan has accused Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of recruiting “like-minded individuals” to later shift responsibility for his own “unlawful actions” onto them.

“The head of the Civil Contract party, who blatantly abuses the office of Prime Minister, is clearly inciting confrontation through his provocative actions and hateful rhetoric,” he wrote on Facebook on Monday.

“There is no doubt that he bears responsibility for his unlawful, church-persecuting and anti-Christian actions and their consequences. Since he cannot carry out his unlawful intentions alone, he is recruiting ‘like-minded individuals’ to later shift the blame and responsibility onto them.”

“Everything is clear about him. Law enforcement and other state bodies must recognize this reality in order not to become accomplices in his illegal actions. He will first and foremost try to use these bodies to carry out his unlawful intentions,” Tatoyan stated.
