Protesters in Yerevan demand criminal charges against Aliyev, Pashinyan for Artsakh genocide

Supporters of the Holy Struggle movement led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan on Wednesday held a protest outside the Prosecutor General’s Office in Yerevan to demand criminal charges against Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan over the 2023 ethnic cleansing of Artsakh.

Galstanyan stated that Pashinyan was complicit in the genocidal ethnic cleansing of Artsakh’s entire Armenian population, accusing the law-enforcement authorities of serving the Armenian authorities.

“We’ve gathered here to demand criminal proceedings against the Azerbaijani government and its leader responsible for genocide against Artsakh’s population and his accomplice, the Armenian prime minister,” the protest leader announced.
