French parliament introduces resolution supporting Armenia’s peace efforts with Azerbaijan

On July 22, members of the French National Assembly introduced a resolution aimed at supporting Armenia’s efforts to achieve peace with Azerbaijan. The proposed resolution calls for the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between France and Armenia and the release of Artsakh Armenian political prisoners currently held in Azerbaijan.

The resolution was introduced by MPs Laurent Wauquiez and Alexandra Martin and has been forwarded to the European Affairs Committee for further consideration.
