I Musici de Montréal performs for Syrian refugee students from the Armenian school Sourp Hagop –

Montreal Gazette – Some 65 Syrian refugee children from the Armenian school Sourp Hagop attended a concert Thursday morning at the Church of Saint John the Evangelist downtown by iMusici de Montréal. The chamber orchestra, founded by Yuli Turovsky, himself a soviet refugee, wanted to contribute to the children’s cultural integration in Montreal, and plans to offer refugee families a total of 500 concert tickets over the next year.
