Presidents of Armenia and Artsakh join Artsakh independence day celebrations
(Tert) – The presidents of Armenia and Artsakh attended the festive events marking the 26th anniversary of the second Armenian republic’s independence.
Before joining the celebrations in the country’s capital, Stepanakert, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan extended his congratulations to the entire nation in an official address.
Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan also issued his congratulations, expressing a strong belief that the country will eventually gain an international recognition one day.
The celebrations will continue until Sunday. Daniel Decker, a Puerto Rican musician who in 2005 composed the song Adana to pay honor to the Armenian Genocide victims (ahead of the big tragedy’s 90th anniversary), has been invited to perform a concert at the Youth and Culture Center of Shushi tomorrow evening.
