Armenian-Russian joint military exercises start


Armenian-Russian joint military exercises start –

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Military servicemen of South Military District Russian military base and Armenian Defense Ministry started joint battalion tactical exercises in the Armenian high-altitude Alagyaz training complex today.

The exercises with participation of over 1500 military servicemen, 300 unites of armored, automotive and special military equipment were supervised by the Commander of United Grouping of Troops and Forces, Lieutenant-General Mikhail Grigoryan and will last till September 7,  Mediamax

 was told in the press service of South Military District.

The Russian side is represented  in the exercises by reinforced motorized infantry battalion of the Russian military base of South Military District and MiG- 29 squadron of modern fighters stationed in Yerevan.
