Armenian National Committee of Montreal to support Norair Serengulian as candidate for the federal Liberal nomination race in Ahuntsic-Cartierville –

Montreal – The Armenian National Committee of Montreal (ANCM) is pleased to announce that it is officially endorsing Norair Serengulian as an aspiring candidate for the Liberal Party of Canada (LPC) nomination race in the federal riding of Ahuntsic-Cartierville.

“Norair’s two decades of dedicated community service and leadership, his twenty years of hands-on experience within the Liberal Party of Canada, combined with his energetic personality make him the ideal candidate to run for the Liberal nomination in Ahuntsic-Cartierville,” stated ANCM Chairman Mr. Jirair Zakarian “We encourage everyone to take the time to get to know Norair and support his candidacy for the nomination race.”

Last year, the Liberal Party of Canada announced that open candidate selection contests would be held in all 338 federal riding associations across Canada, including the federal riding of Ahuntsic-Cartierville. The Armenian National Committee of Montreal would like to take this opportunity to remind the Community that candidates are chosen based on a majority of members’ votes cast in favour of a candidate during a nomination meeting.

The ANCM is firmly committed in endorsing candidates that are well qualified and capable of representing the interests of the Canadian Armenian community.

The ANCM is part of the largest and the most influential Canadian-Armenian grassroots human rights organization. Working in coordination with ANCC and its network of offices, chapters, and supporters throughout Canada and affiliated organizations around the world, the ANCM actively advances the concerns of the Canadian-Armenian community on a broad range of issues.
