Azerbaijan earthquake felt in Armenia, NKR –

Magnitude 5 earthquake struck Azerbaijan Sunday at 9:26 pm local time. The earthquake occurred 15 km southeast of the city of Zaqatala. The tremors measured 7 on the Richter scale in the epicenter, according to Armenian Emergency Ministry’s Seismic Protection Service.

The hypocenter was at a depth of 10 km.

The earthquake was felt in Armenia’s northern regions and Nagorno-Karabakh, with tremors measuring 2-3.
