PANORAMA.- Al Jazeera TV has aired an interview with the commander of the attacks on Kessab. He is a Chechen nicknamed Abou Moussa al Chichani. He came with a group of terrorists from Turkey. The commander in the report was saying that they came to raise the banner of “there is no god but Allah” in Latakia and he delivered a message to the minorities, “people of different religions and sects,” that they have duties to do after the liberation of Latakia.

The Armenian populated villages of Kessab in Syria were the target of three days of brutal cross-border attacks from Turkey. Some 670 Armenian families, the majority of the population of Kessab, were evacuated by the local Armenian community leadership to safer areas in neighboring Basit and Latakia.
