ARF Armenia leader meets with former French president in Paris

Ishkhan Saghatelyan, the ARF Armenia chair and an MP from the opposition Hayastan alliance, has met with former French President Francois Hollande at the French National Assembly as part of his working visit to Paris.

They exchanged views on Armenian-French relations, security challenges facing Armenia, regional political developments, as well as the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the ARF Armenia reported on Wednesday.

Ishkhan Saghatelyan shared the ARF’s approaches on the issues. He also stressed the need for international support to ensure the release of Armenian prisoners held in Azerbaijan, including Artsakh’s military and political leaders, and the exercise of the Artsakh Armenians’ right to repatriation.
