Buenos Aires City Legislature adopts statement condemning Azerbaijan’s actions against Nagorno Karabakh

(Armradio) – The Buenos Aires City Legislature voted 59 to 0, with 1 abstention to adopt a statement condemning the actions carried out by the Republic of Azerbaijan against Nagorno Karabakh.

In the statement, the Council condemns and expresses great concern regarding the forced displacement of the Armenian population and the inhumane conditions created for them as a result of the actions of the Republic of Azerbaijan that violate the ceasefire agreement, the blockade of the Lachin corridor and the resumption of hostilities in the territory of Nagorno Karabakh.

The Buenos Aires Legislature calls to guarantee the safety of civilians and respect the international humanitarian law.
