Armenia’s population is 3,006,800  –

ARMENPRESS: As of April 1 Armenia’s population is 3,006,800, which is less by 0,5% than the indicator of the same period of the previous year, when the number was 3,012,400.

 “At this moment Yerevan’s population is 1,911,200. The rural population makes 1,095,600. In comparison with the beginning of the year, the number of the population has decreased by 3,8 thousand, due to natural population growth, which made 1,7 thousand and the estimated migration balance indicator – 5,5 thousand people”, – said Karine Kuyumjian, Head of the Population Census and Demography Division of the National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia
