Lights of Eiffel Tower to be switched off on April 24th  –

The lights of the Eiffel Tower of Paris will be switched off in memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide on April 24th, as the Embassy of Armenia in France reports. A message on the embassy’s official Facebook page says: “By the decision of the mayor of Paris, on the day of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, at 22:00 (midnight in Yerevan), the lights of the Eiffel Tower will be temporarily switched off as tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide in Paris”.
