YEREVAN—The OSCE mission in Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan on Wednesday conducted a planned monitoring of the border between Karabakh and Azerbaijan, in which border outposts and military stations were to be monitored. The observation was conducted at the Karabakh-Azerbaijan border in the Hadrut region.
From the positions of the Karabakh Defense Army, the monitoring was conducted by Field Assistants to the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Khristo Khristov (Bulgaria) and Jiri Aberle (Czech Republic).
From the opposite side of the line of contact, the monitoring was conducted by Field Assistant Yevgeny Sharov (Ukraine) and staff member Peter Svedberg.
The monitoring concluded according to schedule. However, the Azeri side did not lead the OSCE mission to its front-lines.
